Description
Quality Engineer / Customer Quality Engineer / Product Support Engineer required to join a global engineering manufacturer.
The successful Quality Engineer / Customer Quality Engineer / Product Support Engineer will be site based near Munich, managing technical inquiries for specific compressed air products and spare parts, solve customer complaints, support international customers with compressor-related issues, drive product quality improvements, assist with aftermarket activities and develop towards leading the Customer Support team within 18 months.
The Quality Engineer / Customer Quality Engineer / Product Support Engineer will ideally have a mechanical engineering background, with strong compressed air or related industrial product knowledge gained through hands-on or technical experience, and the potential to progress longer term into a Quality Manager position.
Compressor Service Engineers looking to progress in to a technical support role are encouraged to apply.

Quality Engineer / Customer Quality Engineer / Product Support Engineer Role
- Manage customer complaints and technical claims across screw compressors and compressed air products.
- Provide technical support on screw compressor applications, selection and product issues.
- Support quality improvements and work with manufacturing to prevent recurring issues.
- Support spare parts and aftermarket activity for compressor products.
- Deliver customer training and progress towards leading Customer Support and Quality.
- Site based near Pullach daily.
Quality Engineer / Customer Quality Engineer / Product Support Engineer Requirements
- Mechanical or industrial engineering qualification is advantageous.
- Experience as a Quality Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Product Engineer, Applications Engineer, Sales Support Engineer or similar within the compressed air industry ideally.
- Strong knowledge of screw compressors or compressed air systems is desirable.
- Experience in quality, technical support, service, applications or aftermarket engineering.
- Good German and English communication skills.
- Compressor Service Engineer looking to progress in to a technical support role would be a plus.
- Able to commute daily to the site near Pullach.
