TELL + TEACH + INVOLVE | TRAIN THE ACCESSORIES ART TEAM THE LAKESHIRTS WAY
THE OPPORTUNITY
Under the direction of the Accessories Art Lead, the Production Art Trainer | Accessories Licensing trains and supports new and existing Production Artists across College, Resort, and TGT accessory artwork. You'll teach Lakeshirts standards, demonstrate production-art workflows, monitor progress, and adjust training so artists can prepare accurate, production-ready artwork with confidence.
This is a hands-on training role for an experienced artist who can explain the why behind the work, coach with patience, and provide clear feedback. You'll combine graphic production knowledge, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills, licensing awareness, and practical troubleshooting to support quality, productivity, and 90-day development expectations.
PAY + SCHEDULE
PAY: $18-20/hour
LOCATION: Onsite, hybrid, or remote, based on the position assignment
SHIFT: Monday-Friday, hours to be determined
GROWTH: Build expertise in employee training, coaching, licensed production art, and accessories workflow standards.

A TYPICAL DAY | TRAIN + COACH + MONITOR + ADAPT + COMMUNICATE
- Train new hires and existing Production Artists on College, Resort, and TGT accessories artwork, licensing requirements, systems, and department standards.
- Teach production-art processes through demonstrations, guided practice, job aids, and hands-on coaching in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and applicable workflow tools.
- Monitor daily progress against the training agenda, provide timely feedback, and adapt training based on learning needs and discussions with the Accessories Art Lead.
- Communicate trainee progress and support needs before, during, and after 90-day reviews; attend required meetings and reviews.
- Ensure team members understand job responsibilities, safety practices, company policies, quality expectations, and Lakeshirts core values.
- Maintain assigned production task loads while supporting training priorities and department goals.
- Partner with artists and leads to troubleshoot artwork, licensing, workflow, and training issues.
SKILLS | TRAINING + PRODUCTION ART + ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR + LICENSING
- Two- or four-year degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Illustration or production-art background with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop or comparable programs required.
- At least one year of Lakeshirts Art Department experience preferred, including familiarity with accessories or licensed artwork workflows.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the patience and ability to explain processes, transfer knowledge, and adjust to different learning needs.
- Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgment, diplomacy, and the ability to provide approachable, constructive feedback.
- Organized, reliable, adaptable, and able to balance training responsibilities, production work, changing priorities, and multiple tasks.
