Business Intelligence Specialist

Mission Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Specialist for a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. The project involves enhancing the analytical capabilities of a digital service platform by integrating various data sources to create comprehensive reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect to data sources and retrieve useful data.
• Transform retrieved data to meet the requirements of the destination database (filtering, merging, aggregation, format changes, etc.).
• Inject transformed data into a decision-making database.
• Utilize a BI tool to analyze data and produce reports and dashboards.
• Continue the work on the initial database model created in Power BI by integrating new data sources.
• Conduct brainstorming sessions and work meetings.
• Analyze available sources and existing reports (Excel and SAP BO).
• Model the decision-making database (conceptual model/star schema) incorporating various data sources.
• Finalize a Proof of Concept (POC) using Power BI Desktop.
• Extend and industrialize the POC on the infrastructure provided by the client.
• Document the work performed and develop loading procedures and consultation tools.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Business Intelligence and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of data sources and database schemas.
• Ability to analyze and consolidate data needs.
• Experience in developing data warehouses and associated structures.
• Excellent communication skills in French, both oral and written.
• Strong strategic vision and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to challenges.
• Ability to plan work effectively, considering deadlines and priorities.
• Resilience under stress.
