Credit Control Officer (Debt Collection)

About the Position

The position will be responsible for:

• Take ownership of debtor collection and control, ensuring accuracy and timely execution;
• Be the key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service;
• Play a critical role in resolving client invoice queries efficiently and professionally;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date debtor records through regular account reconciliation;
• Collaborate with the Accountant, Customer Services, and Senior Management to proactively manage and mitigate account risks.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:  

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Bring strong computer proficiency, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and Word;
• Communicate with confidence and clarity in both English and Chinese (Cantonese), across written and verbal settings;
• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, a mature and responsible approach, and exceptional organisational and time management skills;
• Thrive as a self-motivated and independent professional who also excels in a collaborative team environment;
• Apply strong problem-solving abilities to manage multiple priorities and deliver results effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• Hold a Higher Diploma or Degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline;
• Bring at least 3 years of hands-on experience in debt collection and control;
• Possess a solid understanding of the AR cycle and workflow, with the ability to apply it effectively in a fast-paced environment.
