DVM Emergency Veterinarian – Mt Dora, FL
A growing veterinary practice is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join its expanding emergency care team. This opportunity is well suited for a doctor who is interested in emergency medicine and enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients requiring urgent or emergency care
- Perform physical examinations and appropriate diagnostic procedures
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medical and surgical care based on patient needs
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and recommendations with clients
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Participate in case discussions and continued professional development
- Contribute to a supportive and team-oriented clinical environment
Qualifications
- DVM/VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Current DEA license or ability to obtain upon hire
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
