Assistant Management Accountant

North Yorkshire – commutable from York, Harrogate, Ripon and North Leeds

Castle Employment Group is recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team of an established and successful business based in North Yorkshire

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in finance who is looking to develop their management accounting experience. 

What You'll Be Doing

As Assistant Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the month-end management accounts process
• Preparing accruals and prepayments
• Preparing and reviewing management accounts 
• Supporting the purchase and sales ledger teams when required
• Assisting with year-end accounts preparation

What We're Looking For

We'd be keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience within a finance or accounts environment and are looking to take the next step in their career.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience within an accounts or finance role
• Experience maintaining accurate financial records
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn
• Previous exposure to month-end or management accounts would be advantageous
• Experience using accounting software would be beneficial
