Job Title: Marketing Specialist

General Description:
The Marketing Specialist supports the day-to-day marketing, communications, enrollment outreach, and community engagement efforts of Career Academy Network of Public Schools. This position is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, comfortable working with technology, and enjoys communicating with prospective families and community partners. The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, personable, and willing to take initiative. This person should be comfortable handling routine marketing tasks while also helping with enrollment outreach and other activities that support student recruitment and organizational growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, social media, sales, recruitment, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Comfortable using social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable communicating with prospective families by phone, email, SMS, and in person.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Create graphics, flyers, posters, brochures, digital ads, and other marketing materials.
- Manage and post content across school and network social media accounts.
- Update website content, photos, documents, and announcements.
- Assist with email and SMS marketing campaigns.
- Take photos and videos at school events and activities.
- Support enrollment marketing and prospective-family follow-up.
- Assist with community outreach, events, open houses, and recruitment activities.
- Help build relationships with community organizations and local partners.
- Coordinate printing, promotional materials, signage, and other marketing needs.
- Maintain marketing files, photos, templates, and creative assets.
- Assist with lead generation, campaign tracking, and basic marketing reporting.
