Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Sr Process Engineering. The role will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining accurate Bills of Materials for our product lines. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of our BOMs throughout the product lifecycle. This position also supports the Engineering team and projects, including NPI & NTI. To ensure customer satisfaction and to deliver maximum advantage to the business..

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM)for our product lines using Agile PLM and Baan ERP system, incorporating engineering specifications, design changes, and component requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure BOMs accurately reflect product designs.
• Work closely with Procurement to manage component inventory levels within Baan ERP and ensure availability of materials for production and prototyping.
• Conduct regular audits of BOMs within Agile PLM and Baan ERP to identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Support manufacturing operations suggesting modifications to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior product quality.
• Participate in cost reduction activities in areas such as material, inventory and waste reduction.
• Management of work meetings.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing is Preferred.
• Proficiency in Agile PLM or similar PLM systems and MRP system (BAAN, SAP)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Experience in the use of Floor shop systems
• Experience in NPI.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge in KPI´s.
• FlexFlow is also a plus.
• Experience in meetings with customers.
