Position Overview
The Associate Director of Commercial Data & Advanced Analytics will be responsible for building and executing a best-in-class commercial data and analytics infrastructure required to support launch and ongoing business performance.
This is a highly hands-on role in a lean organization, requiring an individual who can design and build reporting and analytics capabilities from scratch while ensuring they are scalable and fit for purpose.
The role will focus on commercial data acquisition and the creation of systems and processes required to lay the foundation for advanced analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Data & Advanced Analytics
- Lead the commercial data and analytics strategy in partnership with all commercial teams, to ensure fit-for-purpose access to internal data ecosystems
- Architect analytics strategy and evidence-based decision frameworks
- Lead predictive modeling and advanced analytics to anticipate market and performance shifts
- Integrate multiple disparate data sets including but not limited to claims, CRM, prescription, and market research data to understand and help predict the consumer and provider journeys
- Assess how and which AI assets should be utilized to deliver advanced analytics & insights
- Scope and execute the plan to incorporate AI assets into workflows to improve speed of execution and efficiency
- Enable data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization
Commercial Systems & Infrastructure
- Lead implementation and ongoing management of commercial data acquisition, systems, and tools.
- Lead development of scalable data infrastructure and analytics platforms
- Establish data governance, reporting standards, and best practices.
- Ensure systems are scalable, practical, and aligned with business needs.
Cross-Functional Execution & Launch Readiness
- Partner with Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Finance to support commercial execution.
- Ensure analytics, reporting, and operational capabilities are ready for launch.
- Identify and solve data and analytics gaps quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Profile | Who You Are
- Curious and innovative problem-solver
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in pharma/biotech commercial analytics, operations, or consulting.
- Launch Experience: Experience supporting pre-launch or launch-stage assets preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), CRM systems (Veeva), and commercial data sources (IQVIA, Symphony).
- SQL and Python a plus
- Competencies: Highly execution-oriented; strong problem-solving skills; ability to build processes and tools from scratch; comfortable operating in ambiguity.

Location and Travel
- Location: Hybrid – Yardley, Pennsylvania (1–2 days per week in office)
- Travel: ~10–20% (internal meetings, sales meetings, conferences)
