Specific duties include but are not limited to

The Mechanical Assembler job responsibilities include:

• Building subassemblies as well as finished products using a variety of hand and power tools
• Operating standard tools and equipment needed to build and/or monitor activities that ensure process control and product quality 
• Working with schematics and assembly drawings
• Using fine as well as gross motor skills to build products

 

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools
• Demonstrated experience using schematics and wiring diagrams
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 8 to 10 hours
• High school diploma/GED

• Hand soldering skills 

 

 

 

GatesAir offers a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401k matching and vacation starting out at 3 weeks annually. Starting pay depends on experience, base of range is $17.00 per hour.
