Main purpose of the role:
- Support a large-scale internal restructuring transaction, including asset and liability transfers across multiple business units
- Work closely with project leads on key legal workstreams (due diligence, repapering, and coordination of advice)
- Conduct and coordinate due diligence across divisions, including preparing trackers, analysing findings, and supporting reporting
- Assist with contract repapering, including reviewing, updating, and coordinating execution of client and vendor agreements
- Help manage multi-jurisdictional input, including coordinating with external counsel and tracking foreign law advice
- Provide general legal and project support, working with internal stakeholders across legal, compliance, finance, and business teams
Person specification:
- 2–7 PQE qualified lawyer with strong transactional experience
- Experience in multi-jurisdictional deals and coordinating external counsel
- Highly organised with strong project management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
- Financial services background preferred; AI tools exposure a plus
