Job Description:

The Vice President, Clinical Technology and Integration for Nuvodia is a regular, Full-Time position.

About the Business

This organization is a nationally focused healthcare managed application services company serving physician-led practices, outpatient specialty clinics, and community health systems across the United States. The business has more than 25 years of experience deploying, hosting, and supporting mission-critical clinical applications for healthcare providers who depend on these systems for patient care continuity every hour of every day.

The service portfolio spans the full clinical imaging and workflow lifecycle: cloud-hosted imaging platforms, clinical workflow and scheduling management systems, enterprise diagnostic viewing, vendor-neutral archive, voice recognition for clinical documentation, secure image sharing, and AI-enabled worklist orchestration. All services are delivered as fully managed, cloud-based solutions, removing the infrastructure and support burden from clinical staff and allowing providers to focus on patient care.

The company operates a 24x7x365 support model and maintains a deep partner ecosystem with industry-leading clinical technology vendors. It is a member of a larger healthcare holding company with capital and infrastructure to support continued growth.

The Opportunity

The business has strong technical talent, experienced operators, and a loyal national client base built over decades. The next stage of growth requires a different kind of leader at the operational level: someone who integrates people, process, and client relationships into a cohesive and scalable delivery model.

This VP, Clinical Technology & Integration role is fundamentally about integration and presence. The right candidate connects the dots between a highly capable internal team and the clinical clients who depend on them, ensuring delivery excellence, deepening client relationships, and building the operational infrastructure to support a growing portfolio. This person will be the steady hand inside the organization and the trusted face outside it.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the senior operational point of contact for key client relationships, including physician practice administrators, department directors, CMOs, and CIOs.
  • Build and sustain trusted, long-term partnerships with clients by demonstrating clinical fluency, operational reliability, and genuine investment in their outcomes.
  • Lead client business reviews, escalation resolution, and strategic planning conversations with poise and authority.
  • Translate client needs and clinical workflow challenges into actionable direction for internal technical and support teams.
  • Develop and maintain client satisfaction programs, including feedback loops, performance reporting, and proactive outreach.

Operations and Service Delivery

  • Own end-to-end service delivery across the managed application portfolio, including clinical imaging platforms, workflow systems, diagnostic viewing, voice recognition, image sharing, and worklist management.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery against SLAs in a 24x7x365 operating environment serving clinical providers nationwide.
  • Build and maintain operational processes, escalation frameworks, and quality assurance programs that scale with the business.
  • Identify and eliminate delivery inefficiencies, reducing cost-to-serve without compromising service quality or clinical continuity.
  • Maintain rigorous HIPAA compliance and data security standards across all managed application environments.

Team Leadership and Integration

  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of technical specialists, application managers, project leads, and client support staff.
  • Serve as the integrating force between technical delivery teams, vendor partners, and client-facing functions that may operate with strong individual capability but limited cross-functional coordination.
  • Build a culture of accountability, clinical awareness, and client-first thinking throughout the operations organization.
  • Develop team members through coaching, structured feedback, and clear performance expectations.
  • Build the management layer and operating rhythm needed to reduce CEO dependency on day-to-day operational decisions.

Vendor and Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with clinical technology vendor partners across the managed application portfolio, ensuring contractual compliance, escalation resolution, and roadmap alignment.
  • Serve as the internal advocate for clients in vendor conversations, pushing for product improvements, faster resolution, and favorable terms.
  • Evaluate new vendor partnerships and emerging technologies that could strengthen the service portfolio or improve delivery efficiency.

Growth and Strategy Support

  • Partner closely with the CEO on business unit strategy, including service line development, client expansion, and operational investment decisions.
  • Support the sales and business development process by participating in prospect conversations, solution scoping, and implementation planning for new client engagements.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships and coordinate with the CEO to pursue them.

Advocacy:

  • Treats all clients with dignity and respect
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Conforms to Joint Commission and HIPAA regulations
  • Complies with PHI (Protected Health Information)

Demonstrates the Nuvodia Core Values:

Authenticate Connections, Ownership Mentality, Continuous Growth, and Enduring Results

Qualifications

Required

  • Meaningful clinical or operational experience in a healthcare setting with direct exposure to diagnostic or specialty workflows, whether inpatient or outpatient.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop operational teams in a services environment, including holding people accountable while maintaining a high-functioning culture.
  • Exceptional client presence: the ability to walk into a room with physicians, practice administrators, or health system executives and earn credibility and trust quickly.
  • Experience working with or alongside clinical technology platforms, hosted applications, or healthcare IT managed services.
  • Strong integrator profile who thrives in environments where talent exists and can provide cross-functional coordination and operational structure as needed to be built or strengthened.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into clinical and operational terms for non-technical audiences.

Preferred

  • Direct experience in a diagnostic specialty setting, including but not limited to radiology, cardiology, oncology, pathology, or a related imaging-dependent clinical discipline.
  • Familiarity with clinical imaging technology ecosystems, including PACS, clinical workflow management, diagnostic viewing, or related applications.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships within a healthcare technology or managed services context.
  • Background in a multi-site or national services delivery model serving distributed clinical clients.

Leadership Characteristics

  • Integrator. Sees where the seams are between people, process, and client expectations, and closes them without drama.
  • Poised. Equally composed in a clinical client escalation and a team performance conversation.
  • Clinically curious. Genuinely interested in understanding how healthcare providers work and what makes their environments succeed or fail.
  • Builder. Invests in structure, process, and people rather than relying on personal heroics to sustain performance.
  • Reliable. The team and the clients both know what to expect and are rarely surprised.
  • Direct. Communicates clearly, follows through consistently, and creates accountability without creating anxiety.

Drug Test: Eligible employees must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Retirement plan
