Description

In this role, you will work as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment, processes, methods, fixtures, tooling, and automation. You will work closely with Operations, Product Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. Responsibilities will include supporting manufacturing projects, developing equipment and tooling specifications, performing time studies, creating and modifying routings, assisting with root-cause analysis, and identifying opportunities for waste reduction and process improvement.
This is a CONTRACT-TO-POSSIBLE-PERM role that is a long-term need for my client. This position must be worked ON-SITE.
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution & Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

3-5 years of related experience

Knowledge of manufacturing processes including flow, layouts, assembly, machining, and tooling

Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and project-management skills

Experience with AutoCAD

Lean manufacturing mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
