Pay: £12.71 per hour starting rate
Job Type: Temp to perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Extra hours available

 

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a busy packaging company in Letchworth, for an Industrial Cleaner to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

This is an ongoing full time position for someone who is comfortable working in a factory or warehouse environment and enjoys keeping workplaces clean, tidy and presentable.

 

What You’ll Do

• Replace bin bags and empty bins throughout the factory

• Clean and maintain staff toilets and washroom areas

• Clean staff canteens and kitchen areas

• Clean office areas and communal spaces

• Keep the workplace clean, tidy and hygienic

• Follow cleaning schedules and maintain a good standard of cleanliness

• Carry out general cleaning duties across the factory and warehouse areas

• Work safely and follow site procedures

 

What We’re Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential

• Experience in an industrial, warehouse, factory, commercial or office cleaning environment would be useful

• Comfortable cleaning toilets, canteens, offices and factory areas

• Able to work independently and manage regular cleaning duties

• Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene

• Happy working in a busy packaging or manufacturing environment
