About the role
We are looking for a driven commercial manager to launch direct advertiser sales for Encore in the UAE and to source merchants for our loyalty clients. You will work directly with brand managers, marketing heads, and business owners at some of the region’s best-known brands.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our UAE growth. We expect you to create commercial momentum through direct outreach, relationship building, and disciplined follow-through: opening doors and making things happen, not simply managing inbound relationships.
Key responsibilities
Advertiser sales (Encore)
- Proactively originate, pursue, and close partnerships with advertisers in the UAE and wider GCC, directly and through advertising agencies, with an initial focus on banks, subscriptions, and travel.
- Negotiate commercial terms, campaign structures, and bounties, including CPA and CPC models.
- Match advertiser supply to publisher demand by vertical and close gaps in coverage.
Merchant sourcing (loyalty clients)
- Identify and approach merchants and brands, present the benefits of our loyalty programs, and sign them to deliver monthly merchant and offer commitments for our loyalty clients.
- Cover priority categories such as dining, retail, entertainment, wellness, and travel, in line with each client’s seasonal calendar.
- Build long-term merchant relationships, keeping merchants engaged and rotating low-performing offers.
Launch & performance
- Take merchants and advertisers from first contact to live offer (approvals, terms, creative, English and Arabic copy, tracking), working with customer success, marketing, and operations.
- Keep accurate records of pipeline and onboarding progress, and report merchants signed, offers live, and forecasts against targets.
- Share market feedback and early results with the team to sharpen our pitch and case studies.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years’ relevant experience in advertising sales, merchant partnerships, business development, affiliate marketing, loyalty, or related sectors.
- Fluent English. Arabic is strongly preferred.
- A proven track record of originating and closing deals with brands or merchants in the UAE, supported by a strong local network.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Data-driven, with a good understanding of loyalty offers and performance-marketing models such as CPA and CPC.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging clients by email, phone, in meetings, and at events.
- Highly driven, with a strong sense of ownership; comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Based in the UAE and legally eligible to work.
