Description
Overview
Your day is equal parts strategist, editor, and coach. You might open by shaping a multi-year narrative framework or refining the voice guidelines that keep Bio-Rad sounding consistent across regions and channels, then guide a marquee campaign's messaging from concept to final copy. You review and elevate writers' work, mentor technical editors and writers, and sit in cross-functional alignment sessions where messaging meets SEO, account based marketing (ABM), and demand-gen goals. You also keep an eye on operations, prioritizing work, planning resources to utilize additional vendors and tooling, and reporting outcomes to the Director, Creative Services.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Craft and socialize multi-year narrative frameworks and voice guidelines that unify Bio-Rad's messaging across regions and channels.
- Guide campaign and product messaging from concept through execution for marquee campaigns and enterprise initiatives.
- Align content strategy with SEO, ABM, and demand-generation goals so editorial work drives measurable business outcomes.
- Mentor people leaders and senior writers, building succession pipelines and raising the editorial bar.
- Partner with Legal, Regulatory, and brand ambassadors to uphold content governance and quality.
What You Bring:
- Education: BA/BS in English, Communications, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Work Experience: 14-16 years of professional editing experience in B2B science, healthcare, or technology.
- Visionary storytelling and strategic thinking, with the ability to turn business objectives into editorial strategy.
- Expertise in people leadership and change management across distributed teams.
- A deep understanding of omnichannel marketing and analytics, including SEO, ABM, and demand-gen, utilizing AI tools to help streamline processes and scale content efforts.
- Polished, executive-level communication.
