Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and promptly report observations and incidents according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site access-control and privacy requirements.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a respectful environment for healthcare personnel and individuals receiving services.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
