Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £34,000
An established and highly respected accountancy practice in Barnsley is looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join its friendly and close-knit team.

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper job include:
• Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Processing transactions and reconciliations
• Liaising directly with clients regarding bookkeeping matters
• Supporting the wider accounts team where required
• Ensuring client records are maintained accurately and efficiently
• Delivering a high level of client service at all times
Requirements of the Bookkeeper job include:
• Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong bookkeeping knowledge and practical experience
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Organised and detail-oriented approach
• Friendly and professional manner
• Experience using bookkeeping software within practice desirable
