Base salary will be in the range $85,452 - $94,984 + 17% super (HEW Level 5).

About This Opportunity
Join a collaborative, inclusive and purpose-driven team within the Faculty of Science, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the student experience and helping to create change together. As a Student and Academic Administration Officer, you will deliver high quality customer service, provide expert administrative support across a broad range of student and academic processes, and contribute to an environment where students, professional staff and academics can thrive. Working within a connected team, you will be supported, inspired and empowered as you help deliver accurate, responsive and student-centred services.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing timely, accurate and helpful advice to students, staff and stakeholders in accordance with University policies, procedures and legislation.
Processing a broad range of student administration activities including admissions, progression, examinations, enrolments, study abroad matters and other academic administration functions.
Supporting academic administration activities including course profile updates, timetabling, examination preparation, grade processing and system maintenance.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing procedures, maintaining data integrity and supporting the accuracy of information across University systems, websites and publications.
About You
An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training.
Experience in administration, with the ability to quickly develop knowledge of student and academic administration processes.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Demonstrated initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across a large organisation.
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
Experience in a tertiary education environment and knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Office, CRM platforms and student administration systems would be desirable.
