Join the ECI Group's Professional Technical Services Network as a onsite Mechanical Maintenance Planner. This an 18- 24-month duration from award based in the New Orleans (Waggaman) area. Note: You must be a US Citizen or Permanent US Resident to qualify for this position.

Our client is developing and operating a major chemical manufacturing facility in Waggaman, Louisiana, producing Dimethyl Carbonate (DMC) and Ethyl Methyl Carbonate (EMC) for the battery supply chain. The site is a petrochemical/chemical manufacturing operation requiring engineering support for construction, commissioning, startup, reliability, maintenance, and operations activities

Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance plan for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize work orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
- Facilitate training and development for maintenance staff on best practices and new technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or mechanical maintenance is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in maintenance management software and tools.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and maintenance practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
