As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Reporting in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Professional at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming experience for customers and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting security-related concerns and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
