Northampton | Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm | £30,000 - £36,000 DOE

The Role
Working closely with the HR Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a professional and proactive HR service across the business. You'll be the go-to person for managers and employees, providing expert HR advice while ensuring all people processes run smoothly and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a wide range of people matters.
- Manage employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance and wellbeing.
- Coordinate monthly payroll information, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in line with GDPR requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new starters.
- Produce HR reports, people data and KPI information to support business decisions.
- Coordinate training activities and maintain learning and development records.
- Build strong relationships across the business, delivering a professional and customer-focused HR service.
- Support HR projects, policy updates and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take ownership of key HR processes while contributing to the wider success of the HR team.
About You
Our client is looking for someone who is confident, organised and passionate about supporting people.
You'll ideally have:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR generalist experience.
- Previous experience managing a range of employee relations cases.
- Good knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently whilst thriving as part of a collaborative team.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
