Associate (Litigation & Dispute Resolution)

We are partnering with a premier offshore firm to recruit an Associate for its expanding Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside leading practitioners on complex, high-value, and multi-jurisdictional disputes, with exposure to insolvency, contentious restructuring, asset recovery, commercial litigation, shareholder and funds disputes, crypto-related matters, trusts litigation, and the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.

Working closely with Partners and Senior Associates, you will assist in developing legal strategies, conducting research, drafting pleadings and court documents, preparing evidence and hearing bundles, attending client meetings and court proceedings, and managing matters through all stages of the litigation process.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ PQE, preferably with experience in an offshore firm or international firm, with strong academics.
• Good working knowledge of Cayman Islands law and legal procedures would be beneficial.
• Demonstrate competence in legal research and drafting legal documents with the ability to accurately identify and analyze key points.
• Able to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Highly effective organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings.
