Overview
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Wilmington Treatment Center loves our CNAs! This position plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care by supporting daily needs and enhancing the overall well-being of those we serve.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works with admitting patients by completing vitals, pre-admission tests, and intake documentation
Complete vitals and performs various tests (i.e. glucose, UDS, HcG)
Performs patient rounds
Transports patients as requested
Performs administrative duties associated with the nursing/medical departments
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant program completion
- Previous experience in behavioral health setting knowledge and experience working with the population of the facility preferred.
- Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current NC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- CPR, First Aid, and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- Current NC Drivers License
