Description
The full-time maintenance technician position works among our Phoenix facilities handling all daily maintenance needs and repairs which can include plumbing, drywall, HVAC and appliances, this position will be performing most of the services needed. The ideal candidate will be a team-player with a background in construction, painting, plumbing, or other skilled labor.
Shift: Monday- Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00PM)
Duties/Responsibilities
· Maintain, repair & upgrade the physical condition of properties.
· Prioritizes and performs service requests in a timely manner.
· Perform regular inspections of the property.
· Interacts with a wide range of people and be personable and trustworthy.
· Working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and refurbishing.
· Must be willing to perform or assign any task that is required (i.e. janitorial, gardening, etc.)
· Services appliances, equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.
· Routine pest control maintenance.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
· As part of Axiom Care’s commitment to Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS), this position supports efforts to provide inclusive and accessible translation services for clients. Responsibilities may include participating in CLAS-related training, supporting language access initiatives, and promoting cultural sensitivity in day-to-day operations.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
· Understands the fundamentals of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and refurbishing
· Willing to engage in continuing education for the position.
· Self-directed, well organized and motivated.
· High attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Computer proficiency
· Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
· Successful completion of a drug screen required

Education and Experience
· Minimum of three years of full-time maintenance experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods standing and walking.
· Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
