Inside the Role
The Procurement & Supply (P&S) NPP Team is responsible for leading the supply chain and procurement implementation of new product projects and engineering changes throughout DTNA's Product Realization (PAR) process. By partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Management, Finance, and Operations, our team ensures sourcing strategies, supplier readiness, tooling readiness, and implementation plans are aligned to support successful product launches and operational excellence.As the New Product Projects Supervisor, you will lead a team of Project Managers responsible for the execution of P&S deliverables across new product introductions, engineering changes, and strategic business initiatives. You will provide leadership, direction, and governance to ensure project execution is aligned with organizational objectives and supports successful implementation at the best cost, quality, and delivery performance. Success in this role requires strong people leadership, strategic thinking, cross-functional influence, and a passion for driving continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.

- Lead, mentor, develop, and manage a team of Procurement & Supply Project Managers responsible for new product projects, engineering changes, and supply chain /Sourcing implementation activities.
- Person will manage between 3-5 PCN (L6 & L7 with College degrees) in addition to managing launch readiness process
- Lead procurement supply Q4-Q2 deliverables including supplier readiness, launch readiness decisions, establishing strategic framework for team member capacities in order successfully launch project year projects
- Will manage $140M company investment of projects launching in 2027
- Drive execution of Procurement & Supply deliverables throughout the PAR/CVDS process, ensuring supplier, tooling, supply chain, and operational readiness for successful project implementation.
- Establish priorities, allocate resources, and provide strategic direction across multiple concurrent programs to ensure business objectives, project milestones, and launch targets are achieved.
- Provide leadership and oversight for sourcing roadmaps across the New Product Projects portfolio, ensuring procurement strategies, sourcing decisions, supplier engagement, and timeline commitments are frontloaded and aligned with project objectives, readiness requirements, and overall business goals.
- Represent the Procurement & Supply organization within project teams, governance forums, and cross-functional leadership discussions.
- Support and prepare Procurement & Supply leadership for Product Steering Committees (PSC), Product Committees, Management Support Meetings, Executive Decision Boards, Technical SteCos, and other project governance activities.
- Lead supplier and organizational readiness reviews, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and launch objectives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive Operational Follow-up Management (OFM) to ensure accountability, project transparency, and achievement of critical deliverables.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Management, Product Strategy, Finance, and Operations to resolve complex issues and support successful project execution.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of processes, tools, reporting, governance models, and best practices that improve project visibility, execution consistency, and organizational effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, customer focus, innovation, and continuous improvement while developing future leaders within the organization.
Job Qualifications: Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply & Logistics, Engineering, or related study
- 3+ years working knowledge and understanding of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain systems
- Excellent writing, verbal communication, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated experience with Lean practices and principles
Preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Project Management preferred
