Job Description – Legal Department | Ashirvad by Aliaxis
Job Title: Senior Manager (8–10 Years Experience)
Location: Bengaluru
Ashirvad by Aliaxis is seeking a dynamic legal professional with 8-10 years of in-house experience to join our growing legal team in Bengaluru. The person would be reporting to the Head of Legal.
Key Responsibilities
1. Litigation & Dispute Management
- Lead and manage complex and high-value litigation matters across forums.
- Handle intellectual property disputes, commercial disputes, and civil litigation.
- Manage consumer complaints, regulatory notices, and related litigation.
- Coordinate with external counsel, prepare litigation strategies, and review pleadings and submissions.
2. Regulatory & Operational Advisory
- Provide legal advisory support on factory and warehouse operations and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain in-house subject matter expertise on Legal Metrology.
3. Real Estate & Due Diligence
- Conduct land due diligence, title verification, and risk analysis.
- Draft, review, and negotiate lease deeds, leave & license agreements, and related real estate documentation.
- Identify legal risks in property transactions and recommend mitigation strategies.
4. Contracts & Commercial Advisory
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements, service agreements, and business arrangements.
- Provide legal support to procurement, operations, sales, and other internal teams.
- Standardize contract templates and improve contracting processes.
5. Cross-Functional Legal Support
- Provide practical legal advice to business stakeholders on operational and strategic issues.
- Assist leadership in decision-making by presenting legally sound, commercially viable solutions.
- Support internal policy development and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 8–10 years of legal experience (law firm and/or in-house).
Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience handling complex litigation independently.
- Strong knowledge of civil, commercial, and regulatory law.
- Experience advising on operational legal matters and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.
