Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Finance to support financial operations, reporting, analysis, budgeting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial information, strengthen financial processes, and support management in effective financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and review financial reports, management reports, and financial schedules.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and other financial activities.
- Perform regular bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required financial documents and schedules.
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants/contractors on finance-related matters.
- Support the implementation and improvement of financial controls, processes, and systems.
- Assist management in preparing financial analysis and insights for business decisions.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned finance activities and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and operational efficiency.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, or a related field.
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance is preferred.
- Relevant industry experience will be preferred.
