As a Client Program Manager, you will play a strategic role at the heart of the account team, connecting customer strategy, commercial objectives, and operational execution. You will lead customer programs end-to-end, driving performance, value creation, and continuous improvement across complex global supply chains. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, you will translate business needs into actionable plans, optimize operations, lead business reviews, and identify opportunities for growth and supply chain transformation. Success in this role requires strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking, supply chain expertise, and a passion for delivering measurable value to both the customer and Maersk.

We are looking for a Client Program Manager (CPM) to take ownership of a strategic Nordic account Wärtsilä.
This is a strategic, customer-facing role at the core of the account team. As CPM, you will connect customer strategy, commercial direction, and operational execution, ensuring that commitments are delivered while continuously improving the customer’s supply chain.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end program, driving performance, coordinating across functions, and identifying opportunities to create long-term value for both the customer and Maersk.
Key responsibilities
Program leadership & account alignment
- Own the program plan and support account planning in close collaboration with the Global Account Manager
- Translate customer needs into clear priorities, roadmap, and execution plans
- Ensure alignment across the Account Team and drive consistent direction
- Lead strategic and operational review sessions with the customer
Value creation & supply chain optimization
- Identify and drive value creation initiatives across the customer’s supply chain
- Optimize global operations to improve efficiency, consistency, and performance
- Support the customer’s supply chain development and optimization
- Turn insights into concrete improvements with measurable impact
Performance management
- Define, monitor, and improve KPIs and performance metrics
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Ensure transparency on performance and drive corrective actions where needed
- Work closely with Customer Experience teams to ensure delivery quality
Cross-functional coordination
- Act as the central coordination point across Sales, CX, Operations, and other stakeholders
- Drive alignment across global teams and geographies
- Ensure clear ownership, governance, and follow-through
- Manage complex topics and escalations to resolution
Customer engagement
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
- Bring a holistic, end-to-end supply chain perspective into customer discussions
- Contribute to commercial conversations with operational and performance insights
- Support long-term customer retention and growth

Language skills
- Fluent English required
- Finnish and/or Swedish is considered a strong advantage
