Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Whittier, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
