Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Logistics in Jackson, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide welcoming customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document security-related activity using technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
