Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Preparedness in New Albany, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a reliable operation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established channels as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and utility-related infrastructure, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining accurate records when required.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities in daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
