At SupplyHouse.com, we value every individual team member and cultivate a community where people come first. Led by our core values of Generosity, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork, and GRIT, we’re dedicated to maintaining a supportive work environment that celebrates diversity and empowers everyone to reach their full potential. As an industry-leading e-commerce company specializing in HVAC, plumbing, heating, and electrical supplies since 2004, we strive to foster growth while providing the best possible experience for our customers.

We are looking for a Talent Management Specialist to join our Human Resources Team! This individual will report into our Talent Management Manager and will play an integral role within the team owning Employee Listening & People Insights programs and contributing to performance, talent, and development programs across the team. The Talent Management Specialist will independently manage recurring employee listening and talent-cycle programs, support job leveling and architecture resources, and provide continuity across the Talent Management portfolio during periods of team absence. This role will partner cross-functionally to continuously improve our programs and employee experience while translating employee and talent data into meaningful insights and practical actions. If you’re passionate about using employee insights to strengthen the team member experience and enjoy bringing structure, collaboration, and thoughtful solutions to talent programs, we’d love to hear from you!

This remote position is open to individuals who live in, or are open to relocating to, the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

This position requires travel to our headquarters in Melville, NY 3 times per year for internal meetings and team building activities. We reimburse reasonable and necessary travel expenses, and you’re also welcome to work on-site anytime beyond these visits – our doors are always open.

Role Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Remote

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with time zone flexibility

Base Salary: The expected starting salary for the position is $78,464 to $98,080 within a full position range of $78,464 to $117,696 annually. This range reflects the long-term earning potential for the role. Our starting pay practice is the minimum to middle portion of the range, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity, consistent with applicable law and it is rare for a new hire to start above the midpoint.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end execution of Employee Listening & People Insights programs, including Peakon administration, survey and pulse execution, qualitative listening, reporting, and stakeholder follow-up
  • Analyze employee feedback, participation trends, and listening program data to identify themes and recommend improvements to listening processes, tools, and communications
  • Independently execute defined components of performance management, talent discussions, and succession programs in support of the broader Talent Management portfolio, including research, resource creation, and follow-up
  • Analyze performance and talent program data and participant feedback to identify trends and implement tactical improvements to processes and program experience
  • Support the delivery of established learning and development programs, including facilitating recurring sessions and improving content and resources based on feedback and business outcomes
  • Develop tools, resources, and content that support career growth and leadership readiness, in partnership with the team member who owns the leadership development portfolio
  • Maintain and support updates to job leveling guides and related job architecture resources in partnership with the Talent Management Manager and Compensation team
  • Provide training and support to managers and employees on assigned performance, talent, development, and listening programs, and maintain assigned tools, workflows, and documentation
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations for assigned work, proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions to keep work on track
  • Provide continuity coverage across performance, talent, and development programs during periods of team absence, exercising independent judgment within established frameworks and escalating ambiguity as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of proven experience in talent management, performance management, learning and development, employee listening, organizational design, or related Human Resources roles
  • Strong understanding of performance management, talent development, employee listening, or related talent management principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret program and employee data, identify trends, and make data-informed recommendations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage employees, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recurring programs or projects independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and follow through on commitments
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology
