At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an on-site work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three to four days per week.

About the role:

As a Commercial Intern, you will gain valuable exposure across multiple commercial functions and work with sales and marketing teams to support and provide value to our product portfolio.

We aim to provide our interns with comprehensive medical device commercial experience within Boston Scientific's Endoscopy division. The commercial landscape at Boston Scientific is rapidly evolving as our markets become more complex and we focus on a broader set of customers and stakeholders, including physicians, hospital administrators, payers and patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Gain experience across Sales and Marketing within the Endoscopy division, with exposure to areas including Sales Training, Product Marketing, Professional Education and Field Sales.
• Work closely with a manager to contribute to a meaningful cross-functional project.
• Partner with a mentors across functions, in addition to your manager, throughout the internship.
• Assist with new product market assessments by using customer insights and direct and indirect interactions to better understand future technology opportunities, physician behaviors and key product selection criteria.
• Participate in hospital visits and sales training evaluations.
• Learn about our sales process and develop clinical selling skills by synthesizing key information and gaining exposure to innovative product life cycle management.

Required qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics, public health, communications or sales, with an expected graduation date in fall/winter 2027 or spring 2028.
• Available to participate for the full duration of the 12-week internship program from May 17th-Aug. 6th, 2027.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.
• Have reliable transportation to and from 300 Boston Scientific Way, Marlborough, MA 01752. Boston Scientific does not provide transportation or transportation support to and from its locations.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

• Experience identifying and understanding customer needs through various research methods.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team environment in a professional or academic setting.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
