Description

Supply Chain Administrator

Goole | £32,000 per annum | Permanent | Full-Time | Hybrid Working

Are you an experienced Supply Chain Administrator looking for a varied role where you can develop your skills across purchasing, stock control and supplier management?

Would you like to join an established food manufacturing business offering a competitive salary, flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week?

Castle Employment is recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator to join a busy manufacturing business based in Goole. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team, working closely with purchasing, production and commercial departments to support the smooth running of supply chain operations.

You'll enjoy a varied workload, the opportunity to build relationships across the business and a role where your organisational skills and attention to detail will make a real difference.

The Role

As Supply Chain Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support across purchasing, supply chain and commercial operations, ensuring accurate records, effective stock control and smooth communication between departments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support across purchasing, supply chain and commercial functions.

  • Maintaining accurate supplier records, contracts, certificates and product specifications.

  • Supporting purchasing activities, including new product development and material trials.

  • Monitoring inventory records, investigating stock discrepancies and supporting stock control processes.

  • Managing supplier documentation and assisting with supplier onboarding.

  • Investigating pallet allocations, supplier queries and supply chain issues.

  • Supporting the management of claims and maintaining accurate records.

  • Liaising with production, sales, purchasing and goods-in teams to ensure effective communication.

  • Maintaining spreadsheets, trackers and supply chain documentation.

About You

We are looking for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy manufacturing environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • Previous administration experience within supply chain, purchasing or manufacturing.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, filters and maintaining spreadsheets.

  • Experience using ERP or stock management systems.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Confidence communicating with suppliers and colleagues across different departments.

  • The ability to investigate discrepancies, resolve queries and follow tasks through to completion.

Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG would be advantageous, although candidates from wider manufacturing backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

We would also welcome applications from experienced Purchasing Administrators, Supply Chain Coordinators and Stock Control Administrators who have the relevant skills and are looking to develop their careers within supply chain.

The Package

Alongside a varied role within an established manufacturing business, you will receive:

  • Salary: £32,000 per annum.

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday days. Flexible with working hours.

  • Hybrid working: Up to two days working from home per week.

  • Healthcare: Medicash healthcare benefit.

  • Parking: Free onsite parking.

  • Development: The opportunity to broaden your experience across purchasing, supply chain and manufacturing operations.
