ID.me is a full-time, in-office culture. Unless a specific job description explicitly states otherwise, all roles are on-site five days per week at one of our offices in McLean, VA; Mountain View, CA; New York City, NY; or Tampa, FL. Certain roles — such as field-based sales or other remote-by-design positions — may have different work arrangements as noted in their individual postings.

As an Intern at ID.me, you will gain hands-on experience by contributing to meaningful projects that support the company’s goals. You will work alongside experienced team members, collaborate across functions, and apply your skills to real business challenges. With mentorship and guidance, you will take ownership of assigned work, build professional capabilities, and present your contributions to key stakeholders.
This role is based in our Mountain View, California office and requires full-time, in-office attendance.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects aligned with your assigned team’s priorities and business objectives.
- Conduct research, analyze information, and develop recommendations or solutions.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to complete project deliverables.
- Use modern tools, including AI, to support research, analysis, problem-solving, or project execution.
- Manage assigned responsibilities, communicate progress, and raise potential risks or challenges.
- Participate in team meetings, learning sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Present project outcomes, key findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Graduating in 2028 or beyond.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with modern AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar) through an active personal project.
- Strong communicator, comfortable presenting work and taking feedback from a team.
- Self-directed: comfortable scoping and driving your own work with guidance rather than exhaustive specification.
- Previous internship, academic project, volunteer, or extracurricular experience related to the area of placement.
- Familiarity with modern AI, productivity, data, or collaboration tools.
- Experience working on a team to complete a project or solve a problem.
- Interest in working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Intern Schedule: 12 weeks, 40 hours per week, onsite
