MEP Professional - Development Advisory Services
What this job involves:
Building Consultancy is the primary responsibility of this role. You will provide technical advisory services and comprehensive consultancy reports for investors, lenders, developers and occupiers across various asset classes at both pre-acquisition and portfolio management stages.
You will conduct comprehensive technical and commercial assessments of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection across residential, commercial, hospitality, industrial and mixed-use properties. This includes defect analysis, statutory compliance, capital expenditure forecasting, lifecycle costing, and risk assessment.
You will draft Building Consultancy reports, lead Technical Due Diligences from MEP perspective, and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
You will drive business development by identifying new client opportunities, manage end-to-end project delivery from site inspections through report preparation to invoicing, and resolve complex technical issues related to MEP systems.
You will conduct site visits, review technical drawings and specifications, maintain project documentation, and mentor engineers and technicians to enhance technical capabilities.
We are seeking experienced MEP Engineers to oversee the planning, execution, maintenance, and optimization of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across commercial and industrial properties. The role requires strong technical expertise, demonstrate technical capability, and project coordination skills to ensure all MEP systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will lead activity on site, manage contractors/technicians, support project delivery, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of MEP systems.
- Conducting Technical Due Diligences from MEP perspective, Supervise MEP operations across multiple sites and projects.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local authority requirements.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project documentation.
- Support budgeting, procurement, vendor evaluation, and resource planning activities.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and performance evaluations of systems and teams.
- Prepare technical reports, testing records, and project status updates.
- Mentor engineers and technicians to enhance technical capabilities and operational performance.
Technical Expertise Required:
- HVAC Systems: Chillers, VRV/VRF, DX systems, AHU, FCU, package units, split ACs, ductable systems, ventilation, and BMS integration.
- Electrical Systems: LV systems, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, lighting controls, and power distribution.
- Plumbing & Fire Protection: Water supply systems, drainage, pumps, firefighting systems, and plumbing infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting capability in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Experience with testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
- Experience in an MEP Engineering Consultancy Firm is critical.
- Minimum 6–10 years of relevant MEP experience including team leadership responsibilities.
- Experience managing commercial, retail, residential, or industrial facilities/projects
- Professional qualifications such as MRICS, CEng, PMP, LEED AP preferred.
- Valid engineering certification or relevant technical licenses preferred
