Job Description Summary
The Workforce Lead Services Specialist works as a key part of the Field Services Team to execute the timely coordination of scheduling of Field Engineers and Contractor workforce for customer outages and projects. This role with work closely with GEH Project Managers and contractor variable work force service managers to solve staffing issues and help execute S&OP processes across the organization.The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters Wilmington, NC but qualified remote candidates will be considered.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for field resource deployment planning and execution to meet customer and business metrics. Interface with the customer service managers on issues escalation. Develop long range forecast for region resource needs. Develop and execute short and long-range resource plans based on resource forecasts and region business commitments including recruitment, skills reviews, and resource development through advance level training.
- Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
- Own the process of scheduling within P6 software to coordinate, track, and analyze staffing of Field Engineers and Contract Workers to customer projects and outages.
- Maintain database to track the customer in-processing and Personnel History Questionnaires (PHQ) status for our Field Service employees.
- Coordinate with customers and Project Managers to update our Project Welcome Package - which informs Field Engineers of customer/site specific travel requirements
- Support staffing and training team deliverables through data entry and analysis using the Nuclear Staffing Database (NSD)
- Interface with the Project Managers and Contractor Service Managers to update project staffing requirements.
- Assist with problem identification, issue escalation and resolution.
- Assist in the Staffing Manager, Demand Planner, and Supply planner in the development of long-range forecasts for staffing resource needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of applicable experience.
- 2 years project scheduling experience (i.e. industrial, capital, installation, production)
- 3 years of experience using Microsoft Software (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
Eligibility Requirements
- Ability to work after hours and on weekends during peak business times
- Willingness and ability to travel (up to 10%) to Customer sites or San Jose Training Facilities
- Ability to obtain and keep unescorted access to Nuclear Plants.
- This role is based in Wilmington, NC (but qualified remote candidates will be considered)
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Familiarity with scheduling software (P6 Primavera or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Tableau reporting system or equivalent
- Familiarity with Smartsheet and MS Teams collaboration software

- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to follow through with an appropriate sense of urgency

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $78,800.00 and $131,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
