Senior Specialist - Data Management (Data Governance Analyst – Third Party Intermediaries)
The Data Governance Analyst supports the management of data gathering and reviews related to third party Intermediaries working closely with other analysts in the team and the Financial Crimes due diligence team. The role assists in the development and implementation of the organization’s global Data Governance Strategy and helps promote awareness of data governance practices to maintain data quality and integrity
We will count on you to:
- Defines and executes a set of clear and consistent processes, standards and measures to ensure data and information quality expectations related to third party intermediaries are met and integrity of data is upheld.
- Assist in managing data gathering needs from colleagues and third-party intermediaries to ensure timely and accurate data flow.
- Undertake due diligence to in line with governance practices to mitigate counterparty and regulatory risk
- Support the administration of third-party intermediary reviews and controls for new and renewal processes related to their use
- Assist in setting up and maintaining Third Party Intermediaries in the master databases and coordinating with account management payto administration teams where applicable
- Monitor and assist management of the team shared mailbox, promptly responding to queries and approval requests
- Identify and communicate Third Party Intermediary activity review triggers to team analysts
- Provide subject matter support to the team and Financial Crimes due diligence team as needed
- Liaise with brokers, third party intermediaries to ensure timely and accurate responses to requests.
What you need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in similar role
- Previous experience of working within the insurance industry, a compliance or Know Your Customer role
- Some experience or interest in data governance, data quality, or related areas.
- Basic understanding of data governance concepts and best practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
- Ability to thrive through continuous improvement, knowledge acquisition and knowledge sharing
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Practical understanding of how AI/ML and generative tools work.
- Shift Timing – 12.30 pm to 9.30 pm
What makes you stand out?
- Qualification or certification in insurance ACII or FIII or CPCU (or other equivalent qualification in other geographies) would be a clear added advantage.
