Job Description
Title: Administrative Assistant
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Location of Work: Oklahoma City, OK
Schedule: Full-time
Position Summary:
The Workers Compensation and Insurance Fraud unit endeavors to keep all participating individuals and entities in the workers’ compensation and insurance business models accountable. This includes claimants, businesses, medical providers, insurance companies and legal representatives.
Essential Functions:
- Preparing case filings
- Docketing court dates and filing deadlines
- Prepare court orders and subpoenas
- Managing restitution payment accounts
- Assist AAG with coordination of witnesses and court filing documents
- Distribution of unit mail
- Maintaining computer and hard copy filing systems
- Supporting WCIF Attorneys and Agents with administrative functions
- Responsible for documenting meeting minutes by accurately dictating, formatting and distributing meeting minutes, action items and decisions.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must possess excellent communication and computer skills. Applicants must be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; excellent spelling; strong writing; proofreading and document-formatting skills; and be proficient with computer software applications such as Excel, Word, Prosecutor by Karpel (or similar case management systems), and Microsoft Office Suite.
