The Technician Quality Control position performs laboratory analysis, identifies and solves problems to provide efficient and accurate reporting of results. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where troubleshooting skills will be utilized in a team environment to resolve moderately complex issues and support a variety of teams such as validation and technical operations as needed. Manufacturing Quality Control Laboratory performs medical device system testing that includes both in-process and final testing of reagent products, controls, and calibrators.
This position reports directly to the Quality Control (QC) manager and is an on-site position within the QC Laboratory located in Hebron, KY and part of a large multisite US operations quality organization.
In This Role, You Will Have the Opportunity To:
- Develop and execute test methods, perform product testing, and investigate instrument or product-related issues within the QC laboratory.
- Support test method validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), quality investigations, and data analysis for non-conformances, deviations, and out-of-specification results.
- Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams to support new product transfers and quality control readiness.
The Essential Requirements of the Job Include:
- Associate degree or higher degree
- 1+ years of work experience
- Experience working in a laboratory, quality control, manufacturing, or regulated environment.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, osmometers, or similar testing systems.
