P & C Consulting Actuary
Remote
A growing insurance consulting firm is looking for a P&C Consulting Actuary to support carriers and MGAs with pricing, rate filings, regulatory strategy, and product development initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Lead pricing studies, rate development, trend analyses, and profitability reviews
• Support rate, rule, and form filings across multiple states and lines of business
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and assist with DOI interactions
• Present actuarial findings and strategic recommendations to clients
• Serve as a trusted advisor to insurance carriers and MGAs
• Collaborate with regulatory, actuarial, and project management teams
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to best practices and process improvements
Ideal Background
• ACAS or FCAS preferred
• Experience with P&C rate filings and regulatory compliance
• Expertise in one or more areas including Commercial Auto, Personal Auto, Workers' Compensation, Property, General Liability, Inland Marine, or Program Business
• Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills
• Familiarity with ISO rating, Guidewire, Insurity, SQL, and Excel is a plus
Compensation range
$120 - $150k Base + Bonus
