A Day in the Life

Global Facilities and Security sits within Global Operations and Supply Chain. We support our people, protect our sites and keep our operations moving.
Keeping our workplaces running smoothly — from everyday site support to the essential services our teams rely on.
Improving how our sites run — from energy use and maintenance standards to the infrastructure that keeps our facilities working.

In this role, you will play a critical role that provides essential coordination and administrative support for capital projects, facility operations, vendor management, budget tracking, scheduling, and project documentation.

This position includes project oversight, stakeholder communication, contractor coordination, and reporting activities that directly support operational objectives.

You will help ensure effective project execution, maintain operational efficiency, support business continuity, and minimize risks associated with delays, missed milestones, and reduced organizational productivity.

This role is onsite at our Memphis facility

         

         

  • Provides project or program support to our Memphis Facilities Team

  • Monitors program/project/system status, budgets and timetables

  • Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures

  • Gathers and compiles information for reports

  • Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding

  • Manages vendor relationships

  • Manages financial information including budgets and purchase orders

  • Manages and updates quality documents

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Administrative/Project Coordination experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Facilities teams

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint

  • Experience working with Financial information including Budget Planning, Tracking, and Purchase Orders

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$47,200.00 - $70,800.00

 

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
