Associate Territory Manager - Joint Replacement - Christchurch, NZ
Join Stryker's Joint Replacement division and support a portfolio that helps surgeons perform hip and knee replacement procedures across Christchurch and the South Island region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in medical device sales while working with leading orthopaedic technology, including Stryker's MAKO robotic-arm assisted platform.
You'll partner with experienced Territory Managers, gain hands-on clinical and commercial experience, and develop the technical expertise needed to succeed in a high-performance healthcare environment.
What You Will Do
- Support surgeons during hip and knee replacement procedures.
- Provide clinical and technical support in operating theatres.
- Learn and support MAKO robotic-assisted surgery technology.
- Build relationships with surgeons, nurses, and theatre staff.
- Partner with Territory Managers to execute territory plans.
- Assist with account management and sales growth activities.
- Prepare surgical cases, instruments, and implant logistics.
- Maintain product knowledge across Joint Replacement technologies.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Biomedical Science, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Engineering, Exercise Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- Valid New Zealand driver's licence (or the ability to obtain one).
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Christchurch and the South Island region.
- Ability to work in operating theatre environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, medical devices, clinical support, pharmaceuticals, sales, engineering, or a customer-facing role.
- Experience supporting healthcare professionals or customers in a technical environment.
- Experience coordinating equipment, inventory, logistics, or project-based activities.
- Exposure to orthopaedics, surgery, rehabilitation, sports medicine, or implantable medical devices.
