Description
Talis Group’s client is a full-service law firm with practice in the areas of litigation, family law, probate, estate planning, corporate/ business and employment law located in the downtown Louisville area. This highly reputable law firm is hiring a Legal Assistant for their Estate Planning/ Corporate practice team. Firm offers excellent benefits, including health insurance, life insurance and 401K.
Highlighted Duties:
- Position will assist in the administration of numerous high dollar estates supported Estate group.
- Draft estate planning documents, including organizational documents for limited liability companies and limited partnerships.
- Collect detailed information for the transfer and disposition of assets, including real estate holdings and securities.
- Collect and organize financial information, including securities valuations, in preparation of Federal Estate Tax and Kentucky Inheritance Taxes.
Highlighted Requirements:
- 1-5 years’ experience in Estate Planning Law supporting multiple attorneys.
- Corporate law experience a plus, but not required.
- Strong communicator with high attention to details. Must be highly accurate with your work product.
- Previous experience using MS Word, Excel and/or other document management software.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality desired.
