- Set up and operate laser cutting equipment for metal cutting
- Follow proper machine start-up and shut-down procedures
- Monitor cutting performance and make adjustments as needed
- Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Transfer files from Engineering to the laser program
- Sort and stack parts and materials as needed
- Perform lens adjustments when required
- Use a forklift, pallet jack, crane, and hoist to move materials
- Read and understand prints, process sheets, nesting paperwork, and other production documents
- Follow company procedures and the Business Management System
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- General manufacturing experience, preferably with sheet metal
- Basic math and computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Familiarity with a tape measure and caliper
- Ability to understand prints and production documents
- General to intermediate mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements & Work Environment Required:
- Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and crouching
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Working around laser sparks, dust, smoke, and flash
- Exposure to oils and solvents on products and materials
- Working around sharp edges on parts and materials
- Working around forklift traffic
