JOB SUMMARY
Ensure that production takes place according to customer needs.
Responsibilities include planning of materials and resources, both short-term and long-term; generating production plans for in-house production and contract manufacturers; measuring production performance; coordinating supplies with Global Supply Chain, affiliates and Tech Services teams. Works closely with the Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Warehouse, Shipping and QA departments.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate , procedures and guidelines, this position:
Planning
Manages the ERP master data
Material planning with the Purchasing department
Generates weekly production/RMA plans
Production/RMA planning with contract manufacturers
Planning resources based on long-term forecasts: quarterly and annually
Production/RMA control: internal
Verifies material availability for production/RMA
Measures production/RMA performance
Production/RMA control: contract manufacturing
Oversees contract manufacturers' production and supplies
Supports the Purchasing team with measuring contract manufacturers' supplies.
Communication with Global Supply Chain, Affiliates and Tech Services
Receives PO and provide order conformations
Update the customers with changes in the planned delivery dates
Generates and communicates status reports
General
Communicates business related issues and opportunities to next management level
Follows all Company guidelines related to Environment, Health & Safety practices
Ensures that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Environment, Health, & Safety practices and ensures that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
Ensures personal and Company compliance with Company policies and applicable laws
Performs other duties assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training: 1st degree or / Practical Engineering Diploma
Experience: 2 years of experience in planning position using ERP system, or in other logistic related field – is preferred (a Student position is applicable as well)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS
Required Knowledge
Good knowledge of English: speaking, reading, and writing
Computer familiarity- Office, ERP systems (SAP- advantage)

A communicative person with excellent human relations skills
