Job Description & Summary

About the Role:

The VMCS Team supports consulting engagements by transforming 
business content into clear, visually compelling, and brand-compliant 
deliverables. We work closely with consultants, stakeholders, and client 
teams to enhance presentations, proposals, documents, and other visual 
assets while ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and 
high design standards.

As a Senior Associate Designer, you will not only deliver high-quality design 
solutions but also take a leadership role within the team. You will be 
responsible for coaching and developing team members, overseeing quality 
standards, coordinating project delivery, and acting as a key point of contact 
between the team, stakeholders, and clients.

This role requires advanced visual design expertise, strong communication 
skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in 
a fast-paced consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Presentation Design
• Design and enhance PowerPoint presentations and proposals 
for consulting engagements.
• Apply brand guidelines consistently across all deliverables.
• Improve slide layouts, visual hierarchy, readability, and storytelling.
• Ensure formatting, alignment, consistency, and 
overall presentation quality.
• Translate complex business information into clear, professional visuals.
• Review, quality-check, and approve deliverables produced by team 
members before final submission.
 

Document & Brochure Design
• Design brochures and other marketing or consulting materials using Adobe 
InDesign or Microsoft Word when required.
• Maintain high visual standards while ensuring documents remain easy to 
read and aligned with the client's brand.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on document design 
best practices and brand compliance.

Creative Design
• Create banners, covers, social media assets, website graphics, 
and other visual communication materials.
• Edit videos and create motion graphics and animated content.
• Ensure multimedia deliverables meet project objectives, 
quality standards, and client expectations.

Client & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and clients.
• Communicate professionally with consultants, project teams, and 
stakeholders.
• Gather, understand, and implement client feedback accurately.
• Present design recommendations and creative solutions to stakeholders 
and project teams.
• Provide regular project status updates and proactively manage 
stakeholder expectations.
• Represent the VMCS team in client discussions and project meetings.

Team Leadership & Operations
• Lead and support a team of designers to ensure high-quality deliverables 
and efficient project execution.
• Review team members' work and provide constructive feedback to 
maintain quality standards.
• Conduct regular one-to-one sessions with team members to support 
performance, engagement
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members on design skills, 
communication skills, and consulting best practices.
• Ensure team members are aligned on priorities, workload, 
and project requirements.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team culture.
• Monitor team capacity, workload distribution, and project assignments.
• Support resource planning and project pipeline management.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on operational 
and administrative activities.
• Track and report team performance, project status, utilization, 
and capacity on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.
• Escalate project risks, resource challenges, and operational concerns 
when necessary.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly: Adobe InDesign, Adobe 
Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator,Adobe Premiere Pro, 
Adobe After Effects (preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Word for document design.
