What are some of the day-to-day tasks the person in this role will complete?
- Shape and execute BNZ's procurement and sourcing strategy, providing commercial leadership and market insight that informs enterprise decision-making while delivering a strong pipeline of value-creating opportunities.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Procurement leaders, creating a high-performing culture focused on collaboration, growth and excellence.
- Champion Procurement's ongoing transformation into a trusted strategic advisor that delivers value beyond cost and compliance.
- Partner with BNZ's senior business and technology leaders to influence commercial decisions and maximise value from some of the bank's most significant supplier relationships.
- Lead strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations and contracting activities to drive value, manage risk and optimise outcomes.
