PwC Actuarial Services Malaysia is part of Asia Actuarial Services, covering markets across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. A career with us provides you an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of clients (insurers, Takaful operators, reinsurers & captives, insurtech, banks, regulators and public sector organization) with a focus on general insurance. You will perform work across multiple domains including reserving, capital, actuarial due diligence, new license applications, business planning & climate risk.The successful candidate will have roles in, but not limited to, the following:
Actuarial audits and consulting work for clients of PwC across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan
Consulting projects in areas such as reserving, actuarial due diligence, IFRS17 implementation, climate risk etc
Opportunities to work alongside experienced senior actuaries from across the region, with diverse backgrounds as former C-Suite in multinational insurers, former appointed actuary and senior regulatory roles.

Requirements
At least 3 years relevant experience in general insurance actuarial roles.
Strong relationship building, time management and project management skills
Fluent in both spoken and written English
Experience in the following would be an advantage: reserving and financial reporting (RBC and IFRS 17), data analytics (Python, SQL, Databricks), IFRS17 implementation, visualization tools (PowerBI, QuickSight)
Technically strong candidates from other actuarial backgrounds with a desire to pursue reserving and reporting may also be considered.
